Genius Networks has been named Best Wholesale Service Provider in the 2015 Comms National Awards to notch up its third major award win of the year. With overall CNA entries up 30% on 2014, the team fought off strong competition from seven other shortlisted companies and celebrated their hat-trick of firsts on 22nd October at a ceremony in the Grand Connaught Rooms, Covent Garden.
The latest win follows hot on the heels of top accolades earned earlier in the year at IT Europa’s European IT & Software Excellence Awards, which recognises best practice by systems integrators, solution VARs, MSPs and ISVs across Europe, and the Comms Business Awards in the Wholesale Provider of the Year category.
The three awards underline the rapid progress Genius has made in developing its best-of-breed network service offering for channel partners and are peer-to-peer acknowledgement of the company’s achievements in a highly competitive market.
“We’re incredibly proud to add the CNA award to our other prestigious wins this year,” said James Arnold, Genius CEO. “We launched Genius in 2012 to fill the service vacuum between network carrier and reseller, after spending 18 months developing our own core network and the CRISP routing platform.
“We chose to address the challenging but soaring demand for global networks, particularly those supporting voice and unified communications and have now created more than 80 Reseller Partnerships with top UK service providers and global vendors. Resellers say that our Partner Portal offers the best online support out there, giving them instant access to pricing, provisioning, network monitoring, help desk and marketing services.”
Genius network solutions are designed to provide resellers with all the support they need to deliver bespoke capabilities to their global customers – something that the big network carriers are unable or unwilling to do. These solutions can be simply provisioned, quickly implemented and out-perform other network aggregators on price, voice quality and latency management. This means that resellers are able to speed-up time to value and increase their margins.
Roberts believes the string of awards won by Genius this year is a timely reflection of the need for change in the way global network services are delivered: “It’s no longer good enough to have a one-size, one-price fits all proposition for resellers,” he said. “The market for global comms is expanding exponentially and high quality tailored services are essential for businesses who want to capitalise on the benefits of unified communications. That’s exactly what we offer – with Genius you get what you need, not what you’re given.”
